Pros

Fast paced, great foot in the door in a hospitality industry. tons of learning opportunities. come into contact with every manager, executive, employee. have the chance to impress or un-impress them all.

Cons

Hours are terrible, especially when you are the newest person. As a FDA expect to work every weekend and every evening. Once you have moved up the schedule you can gain some more flexibility.

Pros

Fun atmosphere because I love working the events, especially weddings. I feel like I am treated as a valued employee and respected by everyone.

Cons

The hours are inconsistent. The events typically occur during evenings and weekends which means there are many late nights. There are issues with employees not coming to work.

Pros

Great environment to work. People are cool. A few managers get "it"

Cons

Lack of concern and organization from human resources, and complaints usually get cycled through the gossip cloud. Petty concerns come first, big issues get ignored.
