Pros

I just finalized the contract with the National Narcotic Dog Detectors Association for 2013. They have chosen Laredo, Texas and the Embassy Suites Hotel as their host. This required much planning and organization with the Laredo Conventions and Visitors Bureau and tours of our great city. The entire experience was a joy!

Cons

Becoming a all non-smoking hotel created some issues with our long term quests who smoked. It was a challenge convincing them to stay. I offered some alternatives to areas where they could smoke.

lower level management. Their was a bit of favoritism with the males having upper hand.
