Don’t work at Paychex - Sales Executive Paychex Employee Review

-MICRO MANAGING!!!!!! -Leads are EXHAUSTED -Quota since day 1 (no room for failure) -Trainings did not teach product ONCE -Extremely high activity expectations - I was told 60 dials in 1 day was not enough -managers watch every single move you make and speak to you like toddlers -micro managing is beyond awful at Paychex -old leads -every division within Paychex is calling a client at the same time so by the time they answer your phone call, they want nothing to do with you - I never believed in the product -sat in a HRBP meeting with a client and the HRBP had no idea what she was doing and they were supposed to be the “certified HR professionals -had 2 sales cancel within my first 2 months of working there my my managers on the call (can’t say we didn’t paint the value of my manager was on the call) - when you book discovery meetings, NO SHOW rate is off the charts. Good luck getting these clients to show up -base pay is NOT enough for how much stress you’re put through
