Freedom to work your own schedule as long as you produce, unbelievable sales tools including a whole division of the company that will make cold calls for you to set up appointments, awesome commission percentages, great bonuses for reaching monthly and yearly goals, automatic expense reimbursement that is tax free, premium benefits and unmatched growth potential.

Cons

You will be working your tail off within the first year or two establishing a presence in your territory to where referrals come in that will ensure a $125K+ W2.

Pros

Paychex is a great company to work for. I’ve held multiple roles over 20+ years. There are always ups and downs, but for every position, manager, decision I disagree with, there are ten others that are outstanding.

Cons

It’s a large company with many opportunities to grow, but smaller companies may offer higher compensation.

Pros

People and the overall environment is a positive one. If you do your part, definite long term career potential. It’s not easy- but stable, growing. Worth serious consideration for early career looking for sales experience with a great training program. Also good for mid-career consideration if base salary isn’t the primary reason you are in sales.

Cons

Very fast pace that doesn’t suit everyone. If you are looking for easy or just a job to “hang out”, this probably isn’t the right spot for you.
