Pros

I like working with a group of people who understand what professionalism is. When you don't have to convince people to work a little later to get the job done right. When people volunteer to do the unpleasant tasks so others don't have to suffer the unpleasantness. When people work on temporary status for most of a year so as to achieve the goal of becoming a permanent center. These are all examples of why I am very happy working at TeleTech. Not to mention their strong commitment to training, their use of data driven decision making, their emphasis on customer service, and their genuine commitment to values.

Cons

Start ups are rough. This is not a start-up company, but I've been involved with starting up several locations and it is not as smooth as you would expect it to be. On the other hand, it is amazing what can get done in a short amount of time. Communication is sometimes not forthcoming. You know your boss is working on what is coming next, but sometimes he or she is too busy planning to share enough so you can plan for yourself. There is a strong emphasis on being flexible, and you have to be to deal with the kinds of changes often presented.

Pros

Great benefits, great team (if you’re lucky)

Cons

You’ll be lucky if you stay with the team or company you were hired for after 2 years. Will not give you notice if you get laid off. Will use you as the worker to train their AI system for the job. Lack of support from management (again, depends on the team). Will wreck havoc on your mental health.
