      Pros

      The team I work in comprises of very friendly and supportive individuals. The team leader and manager are very friendly, and approachable. Team mates are always happy and ready to help you out. Clear goals and targets and support in place to reach these targets. Makes you feel valued as a team member right from the start.

      Cons

      Having not worked in this type of role before, it was a steep learning curve for me. I have learnt a lot but there is still much more to go!

      Lots of change, not boring.

      Internal politics, power struggles and no consequence for bad behavior as long as results are achieved.

      Pros

      There are some really smart people who have been with the company a long time and really are experts in their field and want the best for the product and their customers.

      Cons

      Company demands lots of hours. Working a 70-100 hour work week to get a project done is the norm, not the exception. Also, upper management seems to change and have new direction every few years, which makes it hard to stick with one approach, implement it, and make it work. There are issues with different departments/offices/countries working together; too much internal competition and not enough collaboration. Customer service is not as high of a priority as it used to be.
