Fun company but low pay

Pros

Music company, beautiful products, activities, and celebrations all musically driven.

Cons

Salary is low, benefits are not great, vacation time is very low, and parental leave is short. There are no bonuses for managers, and no incentive for hourly people either to perform, annual increases are extremely low if any..

The Dark Side Of The Moon

Pros

Teams that get the work done have an incredible work ethic and collaboration. Listening to music (sporadically) through so many talented musicians that work here. I guess informal dress code, decent benefits and bragging that you work for an American icon.

Cons

Don’t come here for rock and roll culture. It simply doesn’t exist. You’ll be looking at Excel sheets all day long and building narrative for your executives to chew on and blame people in different teams (embarrassingly in front of other people) for their own constant improvisation and lack of patience to see plans stick. It’s very painful to see great people get burned for speaking up and providing ideas that don’t line up to singular views of the world.

Pros

Cool brand with a great history.

Cons

Abysmal pay for the workload assigned. Teams sizes are purposefully kept "lean" to reduce opex spending, and burnout is very common. Zero accountability for team members who don't contribute their fair share to minimize team workload. No room for upward growth, even if you exceed expectations of your role or volunteer to take on more complex projects. Avoid working here at all costs. It's not worth the mental/physical toll.
