Pros

The people you meet and the relationships you build are AMAZING. I have made some life-long friends here.

Cons

Management is TERRIBLE! They have been caught in lies and discriminate against their employees flat out telling them that they cannot advance because of their mental disability. I took it to HR and NOTHING was done. When people say "employees don't leave bad jobs, they leave bad leaders", this is particularly true in this situation. With the EXTREMELY high turnover in the department I was in (people also leaving because of the incompetent leaders) We were constantly given the workload of 2 or 3 people and criticized when it wasn't all done to their liking. They tried forcing OT, however many of us couldn't do it. Why you ask? Many of us had to have second (and some even third) jobs to make ends meet because they refuse to pay a living wage. Their justification is always "but you get to work for Fender" or "you get to work with guitars!". That doesn't mean $#!t when you treat your people poorly or don't pay them enough. They refused to give me an exit interview, likely because they were too afraid to hear the truth, so here it is, for all to see!

Pros

No pros, company runs people into the ground!

Cons

Daily chaotic environment, last minute requests due to disconnected leadership. Scheduling is a joke and production workers are expected to work endless overtime to fill the gaps created by poor planning. Reactive behavior is the norm as there is no containment efforts to resolve non-conformances. Local leadership only comes around to when they are in the hot-seat. Spanish-speaking only personnel are hired purposely to exploit and pay them minimum wage without it being contested. Never seen such a backwards place!!

Pros

It's a very open and modern company. The employees are friendly and communicate well across departments. The benefits are decent. Overall it is a very cool company.

Cons

The pay could be better. Some people don't understand the value of this position and the amount of hands-on experience the people in this position are required to have.

Pros

Flexibility to work from home, which is being rolled back. Average pay.

Cons

You will be handling the workload of 2-4 people minimum , especially now a they have done second round of layoffs. Pay employees more and hire more people, many of us left because workloads were unbearable.
