Pros

I learned a ton about the background screening industry, but had to figure things out on my own.

Cons

Very high turnover in management. No training. There is a lot of "passing the buck." People are not held accountable.

Pros

Used to be a good company, back when it was still Lexus Nexus. Ever since the sale, the company has gone slowly down the toilet. Then they laid off about 90% of IL personnel. Most were only too happy to leave, given the sharp drops in benefits, the joke that the company calls a merit increase, and increasingly piss-poor treatment of employees. Having Global Operations take over our workload meant having them screw everything up so badly that we ended up with double the work because we had to fix their constant mistakes, or having to cover the work because they weren't doing it anyway.I was laid off, then called back. I was glad to get back to work, but the company denied me benefits and I have been treated worse than a temp, despite having been with them for 6 years. I regret saying yes to that call back. I am doing my own work, the work of the Global Ops department, the work of one major vendor who can't get anything right, and this evening, I also had to do the work of the cleaning crew, since apparently we are now supposed to sit with growing piles of trash in our cubicles. If the cleaning crew were smart, they probably went on strike. I wouldn't even take a janitorial job in this company right now.

Cons

The whole company is a con game. Oh, wait , you wanted good points? Um....
