      Pros

      I left the company for specific reasons, but I worked with great people, learned about the industry, and got a field assignment (per diem pay was nice).

      Cons

      The company rewards years of service rather than merit. Frustrating for a go-getter (so I left), great for someone who wants to stay with a company for their entire career. Due to the cyclical nature of the industry, there can be layoffs and job uncertainty.

      Global leader in EPC space and overall industry leader in a lot of areas, especially pertaining to policies and procedures.

      Cons

      Can easily get lost in the shuffle and become a "number." Not enough is done to develop future leaders out of the non-technical areas of the business.
