Good Firm, Bad Policies

Recommend

Business Outlook

Pros

Great firm with good people and benefits. Very talented and diverse staff with eagerness to aid and assist.

Cons

The firm does not practice what it preaches when it comes remote/hybrid work. Gensler continues to push for in-person work when teams have proven our projects can be completed, and often more efficiently, when staff are given the flexibility of remote work. This mandatory push for return to office 3-4 days a week and threats of termination is Gensler being hypocritical and blatantly going against all the HR self-care/work-life balance propaganda it shares to the public. More so, the firm is openly going against the requests of the majority of their staff in purist of satisfying higher-ups and maintaining "office culture."
