Middle and Upper Management

Business Outlook

Pros

Company health benefits are good.

Cons

Both middle and upper management are totally out of touch with how an office should be run on a daily basis. Arrogant managers shut out any suggestions on improving efficiency standards but will entertain all the -isms. Nepotism, favoritism is rampant. Decision absurdities occur daily. It's an office popularity contest, meaning if you are liked by upper management you will advance regardless of your qualification for the position. If you're interested in any administrative positions at a large firm do not seek employment at Gensler for any administrative careers. If you do... be prepared to endure the incompetence and being ignored if you are not liked by corporate bigwigs.
