Pros

Project work is often interesting, stimulating, and includes impressive clients. Great way to build an impressive portfolio

Cons

The atmosphere and culture is currently at an all time low. The leadership has a lot to answer for considering questionable actions taken in the past 18 months. This tumult has created an office where employees are constantly questioning their worth, standing, and even job stability. Go elsewhere for peace of mind.

Pros

salary, twice a year bonuses, and profit sharing are great. physical space is beautiful and the technology is current. there's an overall culture of 'niceness' so the workplace is relatively pleasant

Cons

they work you like a dog! the current leadership is completely profit oriented with a diminished consideration for forward design

Career growth isn’t likely

Pros

There’s some pretty great and exciting projects you could work on. Benefits (health insurance and 402k etc) are good.

Cons

You have to navigate a lot of egos from senior management. You can get pigeon holed easily, and you need to actively seek out projects youre interested in for your own career growth. Diversity at the senior level is really lacking. (Why is there a studio with three white guys leading? And barely any female led studios?) Promotions do not come with a pay raise. Promotions are a popularity contest. Don’t expect to get a major pay raise. Some senior level directors do not respect your time and will meet with you at the end of the day and expect you to stay later to make “revisions.”
