Pros

They provide breakfast and lunches during busy season....that's about it.

Cons

Ridiculously high turnover rate; nothing feels "organized"; constantly back tracking and changing policies and programs; non competitive pay, below average benefits; some micro management; no "upwards" performance evaluations for management so employees have no voice; required attendance at culture meetings that A) do not apply to Admin Staff in most cases, and B) the majority of the information is left in the meetings, aside from management. When people aren't happy, you don't shove them in these mechanical meetings and preach a false "culture", or hound employees to do an "anonymous" survey via our computers. Really? Anonymous via your work computer, because surely they aren't tracking that! How affective is this nonsense? I've honestly never been a part of an organization where over 75% off the people at arms reach are actively searching for better opportunities. I've never seen anything like it.

Pros

It's really tough to think of anything positive but there is heat in the winter and air conditioning in the summer...some of the people seem nice but ultimately, no one knows what they are talking about, especially the "head" of the department.

Cons

Everybody in this department is out to prove that they are smarter and better than the next person. It takes weeks and sometimes even months to get any actual work done. Many people in charge of this department are extremely rude and arrogant, even to vendors and agencies trying to help.

Pros

To be frank, not that many. Good place if you are a middle performer who takes it easy and does not care about comp or progression.

Cons

GT has very little to offer for you. Where do I start - bonus is ridiculous in comparison to Big 4s. 401K match is well nigh non-existent - you will spend first year getting nothing in match, second year's match will come close to third year's busy season, making this the worst 401K plan that I know of among Big10. Benefits are a joke in comparison to other firms. A lot of PPMDs know nothing outside GT and are to full of themselves to learn. Especially if you are not a white person, don't bother to join unless you are on one of the coasts. You will get constant coaching about culture when PPMDs are literally selling work that you cannot support, while not bothering to retain people. The biggest customer gripe is the level of turnover. Even within the industry, it is abnormally high. Lastly, the partner retirement age is 62, while is pretty low. So unless you are born and raised at GT, you do not make partner early enough to make the investment worth it. The culture was good while Brad Preber was the CEO. With Seth being the new CEO, his motto is hustle! Does that tell you something? If not, how about this? Money being dumped for sponsoring golf tourneys while bonus and raises are not talked about. In short, stay out.
