There really weren't any pros.

Cons

This company is known for high turnover (more so than other public accounting), so they treat their employees like seasonal workers. They wouldn't even pay to get me the training I needed for CPE's to renew my certification.

There are still pockets of great people to work with, although many have departed or been separated since the PE takeover.

Cons

PE acquisition has obliterated this once amazing, collaborative, ambitious firm into just another cutthroat firm without values or moral compass. DEI is nonexistent, change in executive leadership without explanation, and no clarity on partner track, even MD track. They are weeding out people based on favoritism and short-term short-sided goals rather than future potential and loyalty. Completely backward organization.

There were no pros from working here. I should never have accepted this position.

Cons

Backstabbing, office politics, gossipy high school clique culture, purple kool-aid culture, honestly one of the worst places I have ever worked in my life, it set me back decades, do not recommend to anyone!
