Pros

Great comp, great culture, great people. Grant Thornton is on the cutting edge of societal trends and has really made a major investment in its people. They can't change the accounting work, but they can make it the best place to do that work at.

Cons

None at this time - everything from my internship to full time has been amazing. Compared to most places, I don't think it will get any better than this in the accounting industry. Period.

GT has the best culture, by far, of any firm or company for which I have worked. I look forward to going to work every day. Great leadership and great people. A special firm.

Cons

None as far as I'm concerned. I take exception to the negative reviews that I have seen on this site. I've been around 32 years and it does not get better than Grant Thornton. Go work in big corporate America. Then you will know what a poor environment looks like.

overall gt is a great place to work, the ceo is doing a good job in trying to create an environment where it feels more like a team.

Cons

my direct boss was horrible her method of management was to take down people so she could be elevated. when i went to human resource about this matter. i was the one that was let go. my advice to you is don't expected human resource to do much for you. they will take down your compliant and that is it.
