Pros

Pretty good people and relatively competitive pay. Flexible hours (although depends on managers and departments) but in general nobody cares what time you come in/leave as long as the work gets done.

Cons

Terrible culture - no socializing, people are worn out and depressed Very bad financial systems- nothing works and nobody really maintains it Very cheap - no sponsored events and no food.

Pros

Onsite daycare at HQ, competitive benefits, some nice people, can't think of much else. It used to be a nice place to work but in the last 5 years everything has fallen apart

Cons

Everything that could be going wrong, is. All the talent is leaving in droves. Old products that customers don't want and nothing innovative in the pipeline. Broken financial planning results in minimal/no bonus payments and perpetual layoffs. Senior management is totally dysfunctional and focused on fighting with each other instead of fixing the company. Inadequate resources to get work done. Morale is terrible with extremely low employee engagement, making it really hard to get even simple things done.

Pros

Great products franchise and great employees. Employee are really passionate about what they do. Other than at the very top, people work well together. Together they positively impact people's health in a unique way. The company is not huge but it has global reach enabling tremendous opportunities for employees who are seeking a global medical device organization

Cons

Centralized management style. Decisions take too long. In other situations they move fast without looking at different angles. Always trying to do too much, setting very aggressive goals. These are never reached. They are too focused on the short term. This leads to wasted resources, lack of good decision making and poor investments. Haven't made the necessary investments in certain key products and geographical markets.
