Pros

Great culture. Office is clean and good. Good benefits and management team is good. They really give importance to work-life well that depends on the team.

Cons

Good benefits because they could improve it more. Insurance, DC fund options, HMO, is good but allowance is mehh, not competetive when compared to other FMCGs such as J&J, P&G and Unilever. The career progression is so slow. The company is not creating flair to their organizational setup. They are very vocal about continuous improvement but could not make any change with their flat organizational therefore making career progression too slow. Too slow that some colleagues get promoted only after 5 yrs in their tenure. Some systems are old and outdated. Too many adhoc/workstreams to a point that it doesn't give you the freedom to choose where you really wanted to develop.

Pros

Multinational company, promotes diversity and inclusion, good benefits, strong brands

Cons

Though Henkel promotes smart work, there are still many people managers who are micromanaging, lack of empathy especially to thriving mothers and selfish (doesn’t give opportunities like projects etc to team members). When you get a bad boss, your career growth is over. Mass layoffs do happen (no bearing even top talents get laid off). Promoting “craft your career” culture but so difficult for internal movement (“who you know” is a leverage). HR’s Rotational program is limited, only for interns. Why not invest/open the opportunity to internal full-time employees who’s highly motivated, already adaptive to fast-paced environment or even a talent employee? Career growth seems to be very slow when you’re in a less team-oriented department.
