Pros
THe hospitality industry is a fantastic industry to meet new people, have an ever changing schedule and challenge yourself socially. There are always new stories, experiences and challenges to address.
Cons
The downside is that most properties are managed not by Hilton but by disconnected management companies. These companies are account managers, their concern is the bottom line. In that regard they do not care about employees, they see the historically high industry turnover as "not their fault" and thus do not take care of employees.
