Miserable

Pros

99% of the people that I worked with were wonderful co-workers in this location.

Cons

The store manager is very difficult to work with and makes the lives of nearly every co-worker miserable. Walk in the door of the building and you could feel the dreadful atmosphere hanging over the place. The headquarters in PA turn a blind eye and make excuses for this manager who has been with the company for over 20 years yet I have heard stories and been witness to many, many situations that would have had him fired at any other company. This person has literally done things that were so close to illegal.....I'm not sure they weren't illegal but I do know things he said were so offensive it was inhuman.

Pros

Great benefits Free lunch for employees on peak days (red days) Okay discount The coworkers have a good sense of responsibility and respect.

Cons

The customers are AWFUL! So rude, treating the coworkers like they're below them, demanding unrealistic things (such as walking them through the whole store until they find what they are looking for). Management often does not listen to the complaints or concerns of their employees. Coworkers are blamed for almost everything when a customer is angry or upset about something. Have not had a weekend off in 8 months. Way too much drama on the sales floor No set schedule Hours are cut whenever the manager feels like it Hard work is not acknowledged Attendance policies are very strict Actually currently looking for a different job because I can't stand the customers and the way management responds to issues on a day to day basis.

Pros

Everything is a pro! They treat everyone so great, even if you're just a part timer! countless benefits, high base pay, flexible schedule, you know your schedule 3 weeks ahead of time, promised number of work hours, constant training, many opportunities to make it a career, 15 minutes breaks, and so much more! Love this job!

Cons

Can be some drama sometimes, can get crazy when busy, and low employee discount rate.
