Pros

Really kind folks work here - unlike other places I work there is a great deal of respect and desire to collaborate. The company is experiencing an exciting period of growth and change which offers tremendous growth opportunities.

Cons

The company is moving from a transactional company to a more strategic one which means growing pains. Because people are very nice - sometimes it means that its hard to address issues and get things done.

Pros

It's a huge company with 3 primary verticals. Deeply old school retail roots - supply chain & coupon settlement services. If that's your bag, there's a lifetime of knowledge & opportunity here to wrap your head around. There are also some wonderful people who work here. Although there's pressure and stress, I have never felt taken advantage of or chewed up. Balance is good.

Cons

Too much digital bluster. There is SO MUCH potential for this area & group, but not enough humility to be honest and say to clients "hey, we think we have a great idea here, but we need your help to build it. Won't you come along and help us create this infrastructure you all have been begging for for years?" That, to me, is an honest, credible and sellable message. Instead, our message and pitch is full of arrogance and bluster: we are the best, we are the smartest, we rule at everything we do. That sets a pretty high bar for clients - so if you fail and can't deliver (if the product/service doesn't do what we said it would do), your credibility is shot. So much squandered potential with clients, it breaks my heart. We spend WAY too much time trying to look cool and powerful, and not enough time focusing on building products that actually work (as awesomely as we say they do).

Pros

The pay and PTO is average. They do offer health insurance and has a 401K. They will have a nice building in 2014 that the city, county and state gave them $$$$$ to stay in NC that helped pay for it.

Cons

A lot of managers and supervisors seem to be unaware of NC laws on HIPPA and labor laws. It is more who you know or related to in several departments at Inmar. (managers having family ties working for them) I think if Inmar wants to keep trimming the fat they should really look at cutting some of the directors, managers and supervisors who do nothing but gossip and chat at their desk to their buddies. There are more people looking for other jobs because of fear of being in the next layoff (somehow no news people in Winston-Salem can report).
