Pros

The pay and PTO is average. They do offer health insurance and has a 401K. They will have a nice building in 2014 that the city, county and state gave them $$$$$ to stay in NC that helped pay for it.

Cons

A lot of managers and supervisors seem to be unaware of NC laws on HIPPA and labor laws. It is more who you know or related to in several departments at Inmar. (managers having family ties working for them) I think if Inmar wants to keep trimming the fat they should really look at cutting some of the directors, managers and supervisors who do nothing but gossip and chat at their desk to their buddies. There are more people looking for other jobs because of fear of being in the next layoff (somehow no news people in Winston-Salem can report).

Pros

Very nice building being restored in downtown Winston Salem with NC's money.

Cons

It's sad when you see all your fellow co-workers health is going down hill because of the stress of doing something wrong or being nicked picked over things that should not matter. Inmar is taking advantage of the people they still have and it's sad to see Inmar doing this to loyal employees. They have a 5 year contract with NC to pay back all this money they are "borrowing". I do not see Inmar being around in 5 years or if they are they will most likely be public - which means what happens to the money they owe NC? Inmar is "borrowing" money from NC to be paid back by maybe future stock holders? How does that work? I am seeing another Dell fail in the future!

Needs serious management/supervisor overhaul

Pros

Most of the people there are friendly and great to work with.

Cons

Too many Chiefs and not enough Indians. Managers & supervisors show major favoritism and those who are favored can & do get away with things that others would be criticized for. This creates a major morale problem for other employees. If you are not liked by your manager and/or supervisor you can pretty much kiss our job goodbye or they make you so miserable that you want to quit. They show no hesitation in lying to make themselves look better in order to make you look bad. Wonder how they would feel if this was done to them.
