Pros

Corporate culture is friendly; pay is good; benefits good. PTO bank is substantial and better than most companies; nice building in a great downtown WS location. Really respect David Mounts, the CEO: open door policy for any employee, very friendly and little worries about the direction he takes with the company. He's very energetic and driven.

Cons

The 'open' floor seating. No cubes or partitions, to save space. We are all crammed in our spaces like sardines and this makes things very difficult to focus on your work, it's very cluttered, tight, and extremely loud.

We are so glad that you really like your job at Inmar and that you are happy with the direction Leadership is taking our company. We do have a wonderful, modern Team Support Center. While open work environments are the norm today, please speak with your manager about some of your concerns. There are some things that can be done – for instance re: noise levels. Surveys are an important tool for hearing from our associate base – especially in a company our size. Please know that when surveys are communicated as anonymous, they absolutely are – unless the associate includes a comment that identifies them. Keep in mind that our large annual associate survey is conducted by a third-party, so Inmar is not aware of who responds and who does not. That information is not shared with Inmar. Thank you for bringing your unique talents and perspective to Inmar each day. Please address areas of concern or opportunity with management so that they can be addressed. Inmar's Leadership team has an open door policy. Please take some time to speak with our EVP, Corporate Communications and Great Teams! regarding your comments so that she can understand specifics. We must all be a part of working collaboratively, transparently and positively for continuous improvement!

Pros

Inmar is in a state of change - change of private equity owners, change of business focus (towards mobile & digital markets), change of senior leadership - this creates a lot of opportunities for those within the company - I don't see any companies that have visibility to broad consumer shopping behaviors in and across retail environments - which means there is potential for capturing value and genuine growth

Cons

All this change has created some confusion of 'who's on first' and the communication of priorities across the organization needs improvement - also, if you are not ready to adapt to the change, then there is real risk to you - this notion of the "old ways are the best ways" is out of date and companies that fail to re-invent themselves get eaten by the competition

Give Inmar a miss

Pros

Remote work and great peers are the only redeeming qualities.

Cons

It is nearly impossible to get meaningful, impactful things accomplished at this company. All decisions are reserved for the select few at the top, leaving those in lower levels more like order takers and admins. The new focus on employee engagement has fallen flat as it’s rollout was very ambiguous and confusing for myself and others I’ve spoken too. This company talks a high game as valuing team members but comes up short in practice. Salaries are low (unless you’re a VP or higher of course), work loads require more than 40 -50 hours a week and the HR team does nothing meaningful to help with employee engagement and development. Don’t even get me started on the inefficiency of our Finance, Sales and Marketing teams waaay too many cooks in those kitchens. They are definitely cooking with molasses.

Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective. We’re glad to hear that peer culture has been a bright spot. That’s exactly the kind of experience we aim to strengthen through team connection and cross-functional support. We know leadership consistency and clear expectations matter. That’s an active area of focus as we align our standards with how we lead, grow, and support our teams. We’re continuing to evolve our development approach expanding opportunities, recognizing talent, and creating more clarity through a modern workplace model. We’ll keep listening, improving, and offering transparency along the way. Our commitment remains the same: a culture rooted in trust, growth, and open dialogue. If you have ideas to help shape what’s next, we welcome you to connect with your HR Business Partner or the Talent Development team.
