Pros

Management really invests in capacity building and learning, provide many opportunities for learning new technical skills and engaging across projects, coworkers generally very intelligent and passionate, good benefits, meet a lot of really interesting researchers and come across a wide variety of sector projects. There is also a lot of flexibility with location since IPA is in many countries.

Cons

The salary is not competitive so they don't retain a lot of people once they've been around long enough to develop their skillsets, though not always true depending on location and level.
