Great integration / on-boarding to the company A very safe job that you could easily continue doing until your 60 Flexible working hours, option to work from home, good starting vacation time

Cons

Not very challenging or engaging Your work does not feel important Lots of older / long term employees coasting along meeting the minimum targets Disappointing pay

This is one of the few Canadian companies which has taken upon itself to re-invent its business and adapt to the fast changing insurance business. Doing a lot of things right like - Hugely investing in modernizing its systems - Embracing tech companies approaches - Keeping an eye on disruption the sector faces and making adjustments - Making money - Taking the lead in industry on product pricing - Tacking present and future issues around climate change

Cons

Insurance typically is being a back bencher business sector and a large portion of people with the company are here for more than 10 years. Many are not used to the disruption atmosphere so making all the changes bring a lot of resistance, confused employees and push back on change.
