Pros

- Compassionate, kind colleagues - Meaningful work that directly impacts my community - Central location in Baltimore near public transit - Flexible hours

Cons

- You will be asked to do more than advertised - You will only be compensated for the hours you report - During my time, every role's responsibilities would grow but support and compensation would not grow in turn - Leadership is non-functional. Program leads are forced to operate semi-autonomously because policy and feedback from Deputy and Executive Director take too long to be actionable. As of May 2024, this problem has continued for 8 months and threatens to grow worse - A global organization will make decisions that do not always make sense on the granular, local level, often creating dysfunction where there was none.
