Pros

Good benefits with lot of time off. Paid Vacations, sick days, floating holidays.

Cons

Hard to move up or do something new. Management is biased and lot of favoritism. Job itself are very stressful and management does little to nothing to help employees cope with it.

Pros

fulfillment from assisting refugees achieve their goals

Cons

Career growth is grandfathered in - the longer you have been there, the higher your chances of being promoted, most managers are underqualified but become managers because of grandfathering in, lots of inappropriate conduct between managers and program staff; management self promotes and salary discrepancies are quite obvious
