Pros

Clients are great and the other direct service staff do a good job.

Cons

Leadership is terrible. They have made multiple bad decisions over the past few years and always just make things worse.

Pros

Very fulfilling work with an incredible team of like-minded, passionate individuals. Freedom to take initiative and develop leadership skills. Program Managers are receptive to feedback and ideas for operations improvement.

Cons

You make very little money and often work very long hours. It is difficult to separate your personal life from work when you have people that depend on you so heavily. Staff are overworked and there's no capacity for others to step in and help you if you need it. Leadership is out of touch with the day to day of frontline staff.
