Pros

Brilliant colleagues at one of the best 'big' NGOs. Lots of opportunities for learning, growth, and advancement. Programs are well-resourced and there are robust systems and processes. IRC is doing some of the most interesting and effective scaled development and humanitarian programming in the world. NY is a great place to be based.

Cons

High risk of burnout for those in emergency response or other high-travel positions.
