Pros

Good staff benefits, great office facilities and location. Quality product to sell which is highly competitive in the SMB space.

Cons

Senior management encourages incompetent staff by rewarding them with promotions for 'endorsing' company culture/values rather than sales performance/ability. Most sales team within the org are not achieving target and are given little to no help to get to their targets. HR complaints go unheard and unresolved, whilst investigations on management get swept under the carpet on the premise that changes will be made. Managers are brought in from companies with start up mentalities with substandard experience who force their authority down your throat in front of everyone by talking down to you and bullying you.

Pros

I work seasonally for Intuit. My title is Senior Tax Expert and I work from my own home. Everyone from my manager down to my co-workers are so supportive and they want you to succeed to the highest of your abilities. If you get into trouble, you can ask for help and get it quickly and everyone is willing to help you. The training is is good and you need to be fast, fast, fast.

Cons

There should be more training regarding the metrics because Turbotax uses the metrics to make their decisions about the employees. I can be too slow to ask for help, so my suggestion is when you realize your metrics are staying too low, ask you manager to help you. When you succeed, your manager succeeds.

Pros

The culture is pretty healthy and depending upon the team it can be a fun place to work. The salary is above average for Tucson.

Cons

Rotating managers -- I averaged a new manager every 5 months. Nobody really cares about "career path" as you may be asked to move to a job that is not anything close to what your job title or specialty may be in the organization.
