Pros

- flexible work from home - good experience in community interpreting

Cons

Shambles and disgrace of a company! Working for Language Line Solutions is modern day slavery: very poor pay (often less than a minimum wage due to waiting times), no supervision, lots of technical glitches and bad line, rude customers. LLS don't appreciate you at all - you're just an interpreting machine. They'll totally exploit you with high pressure and stressful phone calls for an absolute pittance! They charge clients extortionate rates but pay you a small fraction of that. Shame on you Language Line! I honestly don't know who writes these glorifying reviews about them - must be total fakes. No person with a sound mind would write a good review about Language Line unless they agree to be a slave.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. Interpreting can involve unpredictable, high-stakes situations, which are an inherent part of the role. While we recognize these challenges, we have dedicated teams in place to support interpreters with technical, scheduling, and performance-related concerns. Our compensation is reviewed frequently and remains consistent with industry standards. We appreciate your input and wish all the best in your future endeavors.
