It’s encouraging to know the team worked hard together and supported one another with flexibility and a strong culture—winning as a team is important to us and of the culture we are upholding at MKS. We also appreciate your candid feedback regarding IT support and aspects of corporate policy. We understand how important timely service and communication are in helping employees stay productive. Regarding the 30-minute lunch break, MKS complies with all federal, state, and local wage and hour laws, including with respect to mandatory rest and lunch breaks which may be required after a certain number of hours’ work. However, if you do not take a lunch break, work with your manager to ensure your time is properly recorded. That said, we understand how important it is to communicate such policies clearly to all employees, including managers, and ensure they are implemented in a way that respects our employees’ time and trust.
