Crazy place

Pros

Earlier strong brand. Earlier humane and fair place. Some incompetent and abusive management has taken their act elsewhere.

Cons

Competition catching up after morale split apart and productivity down. We can't seem to stay on track and are lucky the market hasn't corrected more. The sales and facilities management often seem just going along for the ride. Especially if there are parties and maybe even a little shopping involved. Horrible behavior and tricky poltics. Sprecial friends of senior managemnt survive by party offering and name dropping. Doing very little work but taking credit. Their incompetent behavioirs are totally allowed. And we've seen them really try to detstroy others who are onto them. A pathetic and careless management allows this. Who knows? Just a tactic to save more money in addition to extreme outsourcing?

Terrible Leadership and cronyism

Pros

Not much. If you're in sales you have an easier time. Used to be fair promotions. Now it's all just from weird connections. Working to keep things in pipeline used to be an efficient process. And there were easier sales until recently.

Cons

Horrible turmoil. Non stop turnover. Company surviving by riding general stock market wave. Bad team structures in place. Historical abuse and even harassment of employees. Surprising that the place hasn't been sued more. Just so much paranoia and pushing. For project management that has terrible planning. Or good communications. And no real leadership in corporate office management. Cronyism and incompetence is the m.o. All over the place. A ton of manager laziness. So productivity is hard. Especially when the other people don't feel safe or appreciated. Historical harassment in many ways. Often to redirect hyper spotlight on others. While partying and using family connections or other status.

Always shuffling and rarely rewarding

Pros

Some occasional interesting innovation. Index part strong but facing competition

Cons

Very unstable with a lot of mistrust. Middle management paralyzed by fear of senior management. A huge disfunctional family. Especially when systems are troubled. Which leads to more troubles. Managers are afraid to tell upper managers of problems. And some managers even use a system problem, which occurs with growth usually, to exploit junior staff in weird political power stances and clannish contexts. There's a long history of such cases. Because no real communication with remote management is allowed, and most managers fear the wrath of distant so called supervisors. Ranging from the programing struggles to client trainings to travel services. Clear examples of far away or else unavailable and brutal management not wanting to deal with whole picture,so unfairly holding back or just punishing lower staff who are working just as hard, if not harder than some of the higher levels to rally solve the problems. Their field "managers" don't really want or know to solve problems. We just can't get anywhere anytime fast, and the useless big outsourcing just makes it all worse. A crippling circle. Especially with newer product and basic office management. And those hard working staff who try to bring issues to far away attention have only been smacked down, never encouraged. Certainly not rewarded. You can only survive and move ahead here if you really like getting slapped or if connected to the cronies in some weird way..
