Pros

Good salary and a lot of colleagues with tons of experience. They work in a big variety of projects.

Cons

Long hours, usual in construction anyway. It is difficult to progress within the company.

Pros

Medical and 401K plan start much faster than other companies , Co. Pays 100% of health coverage , If you get along with the big guys and belong to a club within the company then you will have fun and get all the benefits

Cons

I am referring to Irvine office , The HR specialist there low education and feel insecure , she is very intimidating , use improper language with staff sometime , but she is a good friend with the controller , I saw another Lady who was an A/P being bullied and escorted outside of the building ( not only the OHL leased suite) when she was terminated in less than 3 minutes , Next thing is the HR specialist start doing some of the work of the A/P person and the HR specialist moved on to the A/P person office. Same thing happens with me , The Company has no proper training or procedures in place , If you are Iranian & friends with the Iranian three big guys in the company you will get a good salary ...etc , If you were working for Griffith co. and were a friends with the president or someone in OHl you will get all the benefits , but if you do not belong to those two clubs then you may be isolated and your days are numbered. If you are terminated that low class HR person will treat you worse than an EBOLA infected person and kick you out of the whole building, although they do not own the building, but with her low education she does not know the difference between a leased suite in a building and a building owned by OHL

Pros

Easy to gain respect as most employees barely have a high school diploma. Overtime is often worked, which means more money.

Cons

Their HR department is terrible; overtime is required and a non-negotiable; hardly anyone has a college degree; a lot of theft happens among colleagues.
