I have been with Oracle for almost 9 years now. Peers have a wealth of knowledge and this intellectual capital that is shared internally is one of the main reasons I stay here. Benefits are solid especially if you pay for the premium benefits which are pricey.

Cons

I have not received a raise in the almost 9 years I have been here but fortunately I negotiated well when I came in at the top of the range. I am an hourly employee and there is enough overtime to keep me here from a financial perspective. I was basically told by my immediate management that I am paid too much and to not expect a raise EVER!

Work culture is good. Teammates are very friendly. No scope for politics. Managers are highly qualified people. We can learn a lot about Oracle proprietary frameworks. Lot of scope for work life balance.

Cons

Salaries are not as good as expected. hikes are less.Previously Oracle is used to pay on par with industry standards but its not comparable with tier-1 companies now.
