Paychex does a nice job at facilitating your career goals. They will meet with you for reviews and ask what your goals are and what Paychex can do to help you reach them.

Cons

The work environment felt a little like a high school.

Roller coaster, good starter sales job, no opportunity to develop in to high end sales

Pros

Paychex created an unreal environment to grow as an entry level sales rep. Through the 90's and early 2000's it seemed like the greatest company to work for.

Cons

As soon as the founder stepped down as the CEO, he began to struggle with leaving his company that he built. He refused to allow the current leadership to change with the times. Simple things like going paperless, or accepting technology driven systems were all so foreign and he inhibited progression from happening. Many great top level executives came and went because they didn't agree with his part time leadership.
