Pros

The best reasons to work at PepsiCo as an Intern is the amount of leadership experience that you gain. I was given the responsibility of completing a high level project during my internship that allowed me to work with other coworkers and work independently using my own personal problem solving strategies. Also, there are many networking opportunities to meet management and coworkers in other functions. The Diversity Inclusion programs are a great aspect of the corporate culture and allows you to share experiences and engage in fulfilling activities with coworkers. Corporate culture is very friendly and goal oriented.

Cons

The internship program is a little unorganized. There was a mixup in the onboarding process and I had to wait a week to gain network access. There is no intern training program, so you have to either learn on your own or have a coworker train you when they have time.

Pros

pepsi is a great place to work because employees get discounts on soft drinks: pepsi products. i also have a membership to the local gym and can work out after work.

Cons

too many colleagues and too much politics. also too much soft drinks can lead to obesity. since joining pepsi, i have drank much more soft drinks than water... as a result, i have gained 45 pounds since joining pepsi 4 years ago.

Pros

Great brands, Great People, High Energy environment. PBG empowers managers to make decisions while allowing for mistakes. Fellow employees truly become teammates as customer demands continue to create challenges and local teams must pull together to deliver results with limited resources. Diversity programs enhance the work experience and campus recruits are given immediate opportunities to perform key roles and tasks.

Cons

Priorities seem to change daily. Demands on personnel being pushed to the limit. Employees are being asked to do much more with less and morale is flagging. Top management talks tough about tackling customer challenges, but backs down as soon as pressed by a key customer. Hours are long and abiltiy to balance work/life is difficult.
