Pros

- Decent base pay for someone right out of college - Chance to work outside on your own time - An established system that will help you pitch people - Friendly if immature corporate culture - Opportunities to make more money than your peers (by over-extending yourself and/or lucking out)

Cons

- Oft-absurdly long hours for the exact same amount of pay - Fraternity-like work culture/atmosphere - The knowledge that you're earning your living predominantly by trying to trick people into taking a "free estimate" they don't want, which is in reality a 3-hour hard-sell marathon - Regularly forced to work weekend mornings - Encouraged by managers to lie to customers/embrace serious ethical issues as "tactics." - The possibility of being stopped/hassled by police for doing your job, because what you'll be doing isn't exactly welcome in most neighborhoods, and the company does nothing to make it legal. if you're caught by police somewhere, they'll just move you to another neighborhood - Encouraged by management to frequent sites like Glassdoor and write multiple reviews in order to pad the numbers for the company - The realization that the most successful pitchmen at the company are merely great BS artists - The likelihood of being let go relatively quickly if you can't quickly adapt to a culture of reverse-psychology and deceit (or at the very least, forced into more training on your own time with multiple different managers, all of whom have their own spins on the "standard company pitch") - Corporate pressure to use your free time to make more money for the company if you want to succeed - Frequently encouraged to "lean on" customers or "build pain" in their home so they feel guilted into allowing you to give them a "free estimate" that is merely a cover for another three hour hard-sell from a sales rep. - Legitimate risk of a class-action lawsuit somewhere down the road, which would kill the company

Pros

Great sales instructions - and this is difficult to fill in with 20 words bc i can't think of anything more to say.

Cons

Atmosphere is like a frat house. People dont last here. The leads just about all suck. If you make it through the insane first month of training, You'll be sent on half hour to over an hour drive to the homes of people who hours before had no thought of purchasing windows (eventually, if u hang around long enough, you will be selling higher priced products such as roofing and siding). You get paid a 100 a day (before taxes) for the first month of strenuous training of these scripts you MUST memorize that will amount to a 2.5 to 3 hour pitch. You typically get there in the evening when these people are tired from working all day and typically don't want to hear you for more than a half hour, let alone 2 and a half hours. THEN, you must try to get the sale there and then, otherwise, you make NO MONEY. There is no follow up opportunity with the customer. HIGH PRESSURE SALES.. You've been forewarned.. proceed with caution - Basically, unless you desperately need 100 per day before taxes for 1 month of 15 hour long days, consider every other option.

Pros

Good Benefits. Christmas Vacation in Cancun. That's it!!

Cons

Long hours, horrible pay, It feels like they hire anyone and everyone. They try to brain wash you ever morning meeting . It felt like a cult. They make your work in the freezing cold weather and then the hottest days of the summer. You have to go door to door and convince people that they need windows or a new roof. All these reviews are BS. They are written by the Corporate office. It's a miserable place to work. The whole company is one big scam. The roofs cost double then any normal roof and they cheat people to buy. Only one side of the window is tempered glass and the outside window is regular glass. They trick people in thinking that both sides are tempered glass. Con artists.
