Pros

Unlimited earning potential and a second to none culture around the office is what makes Power different from any other company that I have worked for! The support system is great and everybody in the office is willing to take time out if their to help those people that need guidance.

Cons

Work life balance is a challenge at first but once you get used to the different hours it becomes very easy! The company is very open with giving time off if needed. Also, the beginning training is very difficult and rigorous, but is worth the time and hard work that was put in!

Pros

Amazing training, cool people to work alongside, good commission scale for the ticket prices you sell, can work independently away from the office, company paid trip (not including airfare). Upper management cares about the sales division

Cons

100% commission including car and gas money. It may not seem like a big deal but the amount of driving you do they need something in place to keep you on the road. However the offices are hiring at an alarming rate probably because they need to protect themselves from their high turnover rate especially during the winter months. Also the appointments were supposed to be within a limited number of miles from my home address and I would end up having to drive across Long Island with little time or notice. You are on call everyday and must WAIT around for work to come your way, this may seem nice but it is a horrible time-management job where you're always on the edge of your seat and afraid to commit to anything until you know the day is done. Lastly, they keep 2/3 of the commission you earn-meaning if you sell $900 you will only get $300 from it for your first paycheck. Essentially they keep the commission you're owed "as insurance" however its just so that the money stays in their name longer so they can recoup the interest off of it. They manage your money for you and when you do finally resign or get laid off it is like pulling teeth to receive your final checks, not to mention they take out taxes from a 1099 check.

Lies Lies Lies

Pros

Work begins at 11:00 am.

Cons

I was told upon being hired that "the worst guy in the office makes $55K/yr." However, about 5 out of 75 marketers are lucky to reach that, with most guys only taking in $26K. We are always berated for low demo percentages, when the MAJORITY of our appointments are rescheduled or cancelled due to lack of sales guys. Constant lies about advancement opportunities in order to keep people around. Told we get free health insurance but you have to pay for it. Told you get 20 paid days off a year but it's only 12. Told you get a free trip to Mexico but you have to buy a $550 ticket and get a $200 refund BEFORE taxes. Told there is a low turnover rate, when only 8 of 75 marketers have been here for a year. Literally everything is a lie at this place, and it is a surprise that is continues when we can all see through the bull.
