Pros

The office space and benefits are great, and there are many truly great people to work with in the London office, especially in customer success and sales engineering. The platform has great potential for delivering strategic value to large enterprises across some highly relevant areas. There are some really intelligent people working on interesting new capabilities and you can sometimes get their input on your projects.

Cons

Mediocre performance culture in the EMEA business driven by overly complex operations, poor execution, and bad hiring (and lower compensation than market). Siloed, bureaucratic and at times political organisation that's too complex and overstaffed. Communication between teams is poor and client facing teams are often left exposed, having to troubleshoot constant technical and administrative errors. Leadership does not take these issues seriously and avoids acknowledging the impacts on individuals or teams. Frequent reactive changes driven by top line objectives and made without a good understanding of the business at the ground level consistently alienate tenured colleagues. There is a culture of pushing poorly thought through messaging both internally and externally and avoiding difficult topics especially when they cross operational boundaries. All round frustrating and stressful environment where colleagues are demotivated and apathetic.

Pros

Qualtrics has some incredibly smart and driven people that are the lifeblood of this company. Culture is decent, benefits are good, and I feel that I am paid fairly.

Cons

Qualtrics has been a phenomenal experience up until Zig took over. I used to feel valued as an employee but it's frustrating to see the same "old boys club" continue to be promoted even when there are more experience and capable people. We lack mature and experienced leaders that truly care about the company and employees. Instead, we are led by a CEO and President that each make about $140M per year

Pros

great people, pretty good pay, hires some amazing managers

Cons

As an employee and customer experience company, we have tons of data on the optimal employee experience. We also have a separate internal employee survey so we can give feedback to senior leadership. However, senior leadership is actively ignoring this data on what employees want, and made decisions that were literally counter to what we communicated. Their decision to make everyone go back into the office 4 days a week was based on 0 data and their answers to our questions were non-answers. Our amazing managers are doing their best and no one is happy, everyone is asking for answers, and no one is getting them. This disproportionately affects people who may need to breastfeed or care for infants, and theres already not a balance of women in tech or this company. It is disappointing to say the least; not because returning to the office is the worst thing ever, but because of the break of mutual respect and trust between senior leadership and us employees. I thought Qualtrics' senior leadership cared about its employees, because when I first joined, it was a fantastic work culture. All that joy and excitement vanished quick.
