Pros

-Solid pay and benefits for the industry (although not nearly as good as they were a year ago) -A lot of good and really smart people work at Salesforce

Cons

-Value-less company that cares more about marketing mumbo-jumbo than doing what's right -Toxic and out-of-touch leadership - Overall toxic vibe from entire ELT. -ELT is a combination of incompetent, hokey, sociopathic - They take no accountability or responsibility. They just blame sellers, low level staff, remote workers, any viable scapegoat for their own failings -Salesforce doesn't respect their employees - Benioff and a lot of leadership are pure grifters -Leadership gaslights employees constantly, especially when times get tough. -We're an "Ohana" here - Yes they actually appropriate Hawaiian culture left and right because Benioff owns a few Hawaiian properties. You treat the company like family and then they lay you off with no remorse... Really "Ohana"-like. (Benioff will actually make jokes as he lays you off) -No vision for the company. They jump to the next thing with little strategy at the top, they leave products out to die, they align resources incompetently, and we're still recovering from this incompetent management debt -Bad career development, few opportunities for promotions or internal transfers

Pros

Great Benefits plus you get access to top tools and technologies. Quarterly Wellness days are a nice perk. Offices are state of the art and customer conferences are over the top. Brand recognition in the industry helps when you are cold calling into accounts.

Cons

Information overload. Too many tools that it’s overwhelming to figure out how to do your job. No Work/Life Balance, Leaders value and praise only those who are closing deals and building pipeline. Days are filled with back to back meetings. Expect to work 8+hours with no breaks or lunches. Micromanagers and leaders who create toxic and negative work environment are abound. The overall GlassDoor rating for this company is misleading. Do your research before going to work for this company, don’t be fooled by the hype.

Pros

No layoffs during pandemic Facilities : meals and best built office infrastructure

Cons

Becoming like family owned company in India. Lot of politics in hiring in management positions. Hiring below par people at this level who will not get jobs anywhere. its all about connections. Your career is screwed if you share feedback openly and will track you down. no safety will exist being authentic Most promotions, stock and increases are given to employees who are suck ups and portfolios are created for them by the sponsor leader and unfairly set up. competent employees will be forced to look out. Company slowly becoming static and stagnant in India. you can survive basically doing nothing and impressing team in US who admire these people who are not a threat to them. Work is mediocre and call centre based work in India. This is not a true product based organization entity here.
