Pros

- payment is so high - many great benefits : dollar money exchange compensation, bonuses and extra vacation days

Cons

- you are alone in the projects, no company support, you have softserve project manager but they don't know neither what you are doing. - As soon as the project ends, RUN!. They have a talent pool, where i stayed for like 4 months and they didn't have ANY new project in which i can apply for :o… I WAITED and trusted them and then they fired me. - The manager for the talent pool doesn't know anything about technology, she tried to present other back end people to a front end project and so on XD extremely disordered, No path on growing, neither on talent pool, nor on new project searching.

Pros

Good coworkers (although a lot of recent attrition of very experienced, good people) training and some interesting clients.

Cons

Senior Managers and EVP's are starting to act increasingly paranoid and hostile as the compny struggles with acquiring new business and retaining accounts, HR is also a weak link. CEO is departing soon which is a good thing, SoftServe needs a fresh perpsective and not the same old "boys club" running things.

Thank you for the constructive feedback. Our new CEO has made it clear that behaviors and attitudes not in line with our core values will be corrected, and infighting will not be tolerated. If you are comfortable clarifying your concerns about HR with the Human Resources North America team, we’d greatly appreciate it. If not, please submit more details to Peakon so we can clarify issues that need to be resolved. We appreciate your tenure with us and look forward to collaborating on solutions to your concerns.

Pros

I like main ideas of SoftServe. But drawn picture can be opposite to the real life.

Cons

Problems in communication with manager has begun after I have done remarks about low team spirit, huge turnover (as in managerial team as in developers team). In my work I had difficulties with handover, clearly defined tasks and support from the manager. Aggressive and blaming environment, not so comfortable to stay work. My decision to change the project was a reason to receive from manager the worst feedback in my whole life. Artificial creation of obstacles with a change of the project through release to reserve. One manager's feedback can cross out all other positive feedbacks.

Hi and thank you for being courageous to share your story with us. It's a pity that you had such an experience working at SoftServe. We know that the same situation may be experienced through different lenses, so we hope you’ve had honest conversations with your manager and HR BP at your exit interviews. SoftServe’s mission is to enable talented people to change the world. Our rating here at Glassdoor and our eNPS which is 84 in Q1’23 proof that we’re putting lots of effort to fulfil our mission. We've taken your feedback seriously and shared it with our TSLs in Poland to help prevent such situations in the future. Thank you for all your contributions while you were at SoftServe and good luck in your new role!
