None of the work from home or PTO matters if you make $500 commission in the entire year.

Dear Colleague - firstly thanks for investing part of your career with us. I hope and trust that your time here was productive and that your experience allowed you to learn and grow. I am also glad we were able to provide you with the flexibility to work from home and accommodate your personal set up. Having said that, I'm sorry you were not able to earn commission at a satisfactory level. You make a pertinent point, the re-seller market is declining in the traditional sense - hence why we are transforming to a Technology Partner and solutions provider - Vision2018 and now Vision2022 are really exciting times for us as we evolve the business and the business model. This also means our comp plan is designed to enable this and rewards success in the transformative areas. Whilst this may be a controversial statement, I am happy to stand by this and say categorically if you simply sell licenses in our company, the commission potential is significantly less than those people providing wider services and solutions to our customers in the context of our portfolio. I would still be happy to hear further feedback on how we can improve - compensation overall remains a sensitive, very important and often emotional compenent of work life - so if you have time, please don't hesitate to write to me in confidence directly. Transformation is Never Easy

I've worked for SoftwareONE for over 5 years and seen first first-hand how the company has built on its core capabilities of software licensing and SAM to evolve into becoming an established IT services and solutions company. At the core of this transformation and vision is an entrepreneurial spirit and culture of innovation that encourages ideas and creativity. One of the most exciting and rewarding parts of the job is working with some of the most exceptional people in the industry in their field of expertise. It gives you great confidence in the propositions and the results for clients. The company also offers a flexible workstyle to help manage around personal and family commitments and is helpful if you just need to lock yourself in a bunker to get stuff done! The international transfer program is another perk of working at SoftwareONE giving you the opportunity to work in another country on either a short term or long term basis. Several people from the UK have taken advantage of this moving to Sydney, LA, Singapore and New York.

Cons

The pace of change and transformation at SoftwareONE has caused issues and 'growing pains' Aggressive growth targets can make the working environment highly pressurised. New table tennis equipment has been bought for after work play and I'm rubbish at it.

Hi - firstly, thank you for your commitment and loyalty to the company - 5 years is a significant invetsment. AsI have commented in other reviews, change is not easy but we are doing our best to navigate it successfully. As with any transformation, we have and will make mistakes - but as long as we can learn from them and be better then we stay tru to our values. Great feedback on internal comms - we are trying to do this with CEO All Hands calls and things like our win wires- although it sounds like we need to do more of this at the local level and if it's not been seen already, I will make sure this feedback gets to the local teams. Our GTM is evolving but we believe it is becoming clearer every day as we have been more focused in our TS (FDC & FW) and SAM (SAMSimple) offering and have begun to deploy our own solutions (PyraCloud) - we will continue to add more but are conscious of trying to get the right balance of agility, speed and quality. Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback - I'm very sorry that compensation is an issue for you - this is obviously an emotive and personal subject to all. As you may know we spend a signifiant amount of time each year taking employee feedback and reviewing the plan - this is based on a number guiding principles which include "reward high performance" and "being fair & equitable". It would appear however that this is not the reality for you - it would be great if we could discuss this personally (and in confidence) to address why there appears to be a gap & improve for the future.
