Pros

To be honest I honestly cannot think of any. Seriously

Cons

Wow, too many to list here. To start with SWO used to have a great employee culture (so I am told). That was has been lost as employees now are only a number. EBITDA (or using this for excuse to hold down costs), has taken over. Now the bottom line, profit, expenses, and numbers has taken over. Employees are just a number, especially if you work in sales. In addition, late 2016 into 2017 has seen a lot of lay offs, Riffs, and people pushed out of the company. Most long term employees I knew have resigned. Speaking of EBITDA, the company has a terrible cell phone plan and has recently moved to a terrible "corporate credit card " program. The 401k program is weak as well. Lots of Cons to list, but you get the idea....

Dear Colleague - thank you for taking the time to present your feedback. Perhaps if you are able, you could contact me (john.mayes@softwareone.com) or the NORAM HR Leader (Patty) in confidence to expand on your points here? It would be really useful to us to know somemore detail as if I look at the comments from our US Employee Survey, the 401K, healthcare and other benefits are not mentioned in a crirical way a great deal. EBITDA is a key measure of performance for most companies and while we have had to focus on efficieny during our transformation, our positive half year results mean we believe our approach is the right one. There is a heavy emphasis on performance so I am sorry you have not seen the upside of our culture yet - this is really important to us but I also appreciate that our culture is quite unique and won't be to everyone's expectations. Look forward to speaking directly if you are able to and hopefully we can find a way to respond to the feedback directly.

Pros

Transport, Cafeteria, Very friendly Culture. Open door policy. transparent Monthly and Quarterly discussions. Alot to learn in terms of tools & publisher level compliance. Very good opportunities if you joined here in earlier phase of you career. There is alot of potential here in GSDC. Trainings are provided periodically for skills enhancement. Global and country level townhall are conducted time to time to put forward queries & questions by individuals. Great Parties occasionally.

Cons

Zero global opportunities. If you ask for exposure you will be asked to be alligned to onsite project in india only. Processes are taken over by individuals(prefered) who does not want to share in order to build their dependency. Middle level management is not capable enough to understand the need of the IC. All they selfishly care about is themself and thier own processes. No-one want to listen about problems an IC faces when he is induced in more then one process in the name of resource crunch. There is alot of potential here in GSDC, but somehow management believes in choosen few.
