Pros

SoftwareONE has a great culture of team work and collaboration which allows innovation and is appreciated by its clients and partners globally.

Cons

Business has grown very rapidly over the last couple of years, which has introduced a level of complexity and integration pains, as expected with any large global org.

Thanks for the feedback - to a certain extent, we are all learning as we go, but great to see you believe we are going in the right direction! Thanks again, John.

Pros

We truly embrace our culture and corporate values. I have never worked with this level of talent in my 16 years of being in Software Asset Management (SAM). My teammates are part of my family, and even those that leave, often return as they find that no company is quite like this one. We are passionate and work hard but also take work-life balance very seriously.

Cons

I'm one of two of the only people located in Kansas City.

Pros

SoftwareONE has a culture that encourages continuous learning and improvement. Though they sometimes require prodding, management ends up doing the right thing eventually. There's very little backstabbing, petty jealousy, or other antisocial behavior, at least in the delivery teams. Turnover is (very) low and layoffs are unheard of so far.

Cons

Sales incentives aren't always correctly aligned to company goals which sometimes leading to strange behaviors. Fast growth has led to an array of services that are often not as well-integrated or standardized as they could be. Some lower-cost services delivered by overseas resources threaten to undermine the brand's quality image. Considering how cheaply those services are usually sold, that doesn't seem like a great idea. Last, salaries lag the industry.

Constructive and relevant, specific feedback. Thank you. Love that you love the culture and some areas for us to improve. Any specific ideas on incentives for next year, please let your Regional Leader know directly. Thanks again, John.
