Them not using Salesforce is a real issue. Each team had different ways of building pipelines, with our manager utilizing an impressive Excel sheet she created due to the lack of a proper CRM provided by salesforce. Although her solution was resourceful, it was not a true CRM and felt somewhat unprofessional for such a large company. When I started, they promised a completed CRM by January, but seasoned employees joked that it had been in development for 8 years, leading to skepticism.
Furthermore, they don't seem to be a true value-added reseller (VAR). They haven't built relationships with smaller organizations, likely because they relied heavily on Microsoft for income for years. Now they're playing catch-up and are significantly behind.
Finally, their outdated system makes fulfilling orders cumbersome and time-consuming, taking up to 45 days. In my previous company, orders needed to be closed within a week, resulting in disciplinary action if not accomplished.
