Pros

Starbucks is one of those companies that truly believe in what they say. Not only do they have values that are forward thinking, they take action to make you feel welcome and important. Having worked for a few of the larger companies in the Seattle area (::cough:: Microsoft/Amazon) Starbucks doesn't follow any sort of so-called formula to success like these other companies. - the usual great health benefits - collaborative environments - management that actually cares and helps cultivate your career - gym on site - fantastic people. have never worked with a better group of individuals - leader in the industry. it's good to be king sometimes. - leadership is pretty transparent with financials

Cons

- not a ton of work from home options. in the dark ages on this one. - corporate office is huge and dark in places. - vacation time is bogus. they offer two weeks when you first start. (is there anyone that actually survives on two weeks of vacation for an entire year?) -pay is adequate but could be better for mid to senior level folks - lunch options around SODO area of seattle stink
