Swiss Re - Worst Place to work

Recommend

Business Outlook

Pros

Good if you want an average income without doing any work or have no brains so wont get in anywhere else like the case with their HR team.

Cons

Interview process - 6-8 months if you are lucky, not because they have detailed rounds but because the recruitment team is full of idiots who cannot understand what is needed and are too lazy to close. Only way you can be hired is if the interviewers or you are following up daily. role discussed during interview and work you do do not match Politics Politics Politics No Business Ethics or Professionalism

"A swiss boys club"

Recommend
CEO approval
Business Outlook

Pros

The company offers great benefits, professional training and opportunities to work with international teams and with very smart people overall. Very good external image and good brand for your CV. Flexible working hours.

Cons

Despite the many Diversity & Inclusion efforts, the company in Zurich is a Swiss boys' club and who does not fit this description has substantial less opportunities for promotion and salary increase. The company recently published an study that measured internal bias in the organization and the #1 bias was against women, well above race, place of origin and sexual orientation. Interestingly enough, women in leadership positions demonstrated more negative bias against other women than men.

Pros

Their benefits are excellent. That’s all they have to offer.

Cons

Changes job titles and reduce salaries so that an older person will leave. Age discrimination.
