Pros

International vibe, modern offices, good team spirit, before the pandemic also plenty of opportunities for travel, team buildings etc. Very good benefits i.e. public transport card, recreational vouchers, gym entry etc. Swiss Re has shown a good progress on mental health and diversity front, and has invested its resources in helping its employees during the pandemic.

Cons

As every corporate, you get stuck in many processes and silos. If you don't get a close knit team, one can feel pretty lonely and lost in the crowd (being one of the 2,000 people working in a shared service in Bratislava}. Watch out for burnout and make sure you do benefit from work- life balance that Swiss Re claims in its ethos.
