Pros

Stability, nice benefits, great work life balance, caring employer, rock solid company with 150 years behind it. “Job for life” feeling.

Cons

Not much scope to get outside the box. I worked for Corporate Solutions (CorSo) which is like the black sheep of the Swiss Re Group. Main Swiss Re company is a market leader, but CorSo seems a bit clueless by comparison. Also, it seems like a more attractive employer in head office Switzerland compared to overseas locations. It attracts the top people in Switzerland but not in places like London. I found this strange.
